It’s the old shipbuilding property. It was cool to see all of the history of the building and area. It was in a great location and was easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Papenburg was nice but we felt one day was enough.
Papenburg was nice but we felt one day was enough. There is a nice pedestrianised area along a canal with shops, bars and restaurants. There is a park and also a large lake close by. We felt that if you are looking for a quiet couple of days away it would be ok. We had a fantastic dinner in the pedestrianised area at Restaurant MediTerra, and had fish of the day, whole grilled seabass, it was reasonably priced and the staff were lovely.
House is big, well furnished and deep cleaned. The bedroom has a nice ambient lighting and an enjoyable window and the bed is really comfortable.
Garden is outstanding. Try to have lunch outside if weather permits. Handy parking spot close to the house entrance. Excellent place in Papenburg !
I loved the reception and the Hotel. The hospitality was so warm at the reseption. Really good experience at this hotel and next time in Pappneburg for sure will go back.
