This was a return visit, which lived up to our high expectations. Our host Jorge was kind, attentive and considerate. We had secure garages for 2 classic cars, a wholesome breakfast, very kind welcoming drinks, and were made to feel very much at home. Quiet, comfortable en suite rooms made for a superb stay.

We liked everything. Even the bathroom scale. The room was fantastic. The dinner and breakfast was better than fantastic.

The town is next to a very busy road which spoils enjoyment of the riverside. If you are hoping to try local wines, you would be better choosing another town, (or perhaps a hotel in the town centre) my stay by the station was not near anywhere to eat or sample local wines. I was disappointed and another time will stay in Eltville.

we have stayed in this hotel before and came back because we loved it so much. The design is absolutely lovely, so is the breakfast and an extra touch is a fridge in the backyard with an honesty box, meaning you can sit in the wonderfully leafy garden, enjoy a glass of wine and pay when you check out. We slept like babies, and I especially loved the generous amount of pillows on the bed - just perfect. We will definitely come back a third time.

Pension-Allendorf exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and contained a small kitchen. Breakfast was simple, but well-prepared and tasty. The hotel was perfect for our needs and we could easily park outside for free.
the "late check-in system was clearly explained and simple to use which was very helpful. Lots of hotels should use a similar way to welcome guests instead of telling you its "not possible to check-in after ....pm".
