If you love winter sports, in particular biathlon then Oberhof is the place for you. Also it's ideal for hiking and cycling especially along the Rennsteig. Ideally is best to have a car. The location of the Obere Schweizerhütte was right next to the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton runs. The cable car to the top was amazing and once at the top you're at the biathlon stadium. You xan also have a shooting experience.

The Breakfast and Dinner was excellent
The swimming pool water temperature was very good especially for kids and infants.
The kids playing rooms well equiped.
I liked that one could rent strollers and other stuff if need be for long walks.
I would recommend the hotel for other parents and also everybody who likes fresh air and nature.
Property was excellent, on great location. Room well equiped, bed more than comfortable. Extra clean, the cleanest hotel which I was. Everything was perfect. Breakfast also was excellent, with huge variety of nice food. Hotel for grade 10.
Excellent value for money. Warm hotel atmosphere, lovely staff and very very good breakfast buffet. Staff accommodated free room change so I could stay with my dog in one with a garden access
Great value for money, however with some GDR charme. Central location and with parking in the back. Didn't use the spa at the nearby hotel in the end, but it would have been included.
