Amazing value for money. Would highly recommend. Lovely hosting family
Located in Wasserliesch, known as the Gate to the Upper Moselle, this hotel features a traditional beer garden. It is surrounded by the Upper Moselle cycle path.

The hotel itself is ok, but the restaurant is absolutely exceptional.
We didn't expect much, since it's pretty much in a middle of nowhere, but eventually that was the best meal we had during this trip in Germany.
This family-run hotel in the Albachtal Nature Park is just a 10-minute walk from the River Moselle. The rooms at the Waldhotel Albachmühle come with satellite TV and a seating area.

It is a very cozy place in the hilly area not far from Trier. The wooden decoration is beautiful. They serve a very good Kellerbier and different kinds of Schnitzel. We also liked their fried mushrooms. The guy at reception and the restaurant is very friendly and helpful. Cheers.
Set in a historic building in the picturesque old town of Saarburg, this family-run hotel offers classic-style rooms with free WiFi. It is situated directly on the banks of the Saar River.
Surrounded by forests and vineyards, this peaceful hotel offers seasonal cuisine and wine-tasting sessions. It lies in the village of Ayl, a 20-minute drive from Trier and Luxembourg.

Serene, down-to-earth setting, fantastic, welcoming hosts, and a Michelin restaurant to go with it.
Set in the heart of mediaeval Saarburg, this 3-star hotel offers easy access to the city of Trier, and the hiking and bicycle routes of the German, French and Luxembourg triangle
The modern Hotel Saa...
This traditional-style hotel in Saarburg stands beside the waterfall in the pedestrian area. It offers individually designed rooms, and a German-Italian restaurant with a large terrace.
Located direcly at the Mosel river, the cycle path and the train station which goes to either Trier and down to the French border. There are a few restos near by and walkable where you can drink local wine. My recommendation would be the Apel resto. Very busy so please book in advance. This is a quite cheap self check in, no frills hotel. Had initial problems with one of the terminals but help in form of a friendly young Ukrainian was near. The rooms are about 20m2 and have an acceptable standard. TV only receives a handful channels.
The Mühlengarten is right at the bus stop in Nittel and straight across the train station, so if you don't have a car, you have direct access to public transport within Germany and towards Luxemburg as well. If you have a car, there is a big parking lot. If you only plan to stay in Nittel for a day or two and otherwise you'd only use the room for sleeping, it's cheap. Wifi was okay.
Decent room with a lot of space. Check in process was smooth. A reception is not necessary in this way. Downstairs is a restaurant, not related to the hotel, but very convenient. Better than expected
It is a ghost hotel. During my stay (one week) I haven't spotted any member of the staff. The single room is small and there was no cleaning service during my stay. Poor Wifi speed.
