In Rosenau, on the outskirts of the spa town of Grafenau, this family-run country hotel offers comfortable accommodations, modern spa facilities and an indoor pool.
Hotel was fine, rooms were a bit dated but ok to sleep in. Interior is so dated it becomes retro. But clean, so who cares. Location was very good, you can park for free at the hotel and walk to the national park. Recommended. Village is very quiet. Breakfast was ok. Especially good boiled eggs. Nice info of the area near the receptiondesk, maps and such. You also get a free bus/train card for regional transportation. Not from the hotel, but from the government.
Food was great, Beer was nice, Rooms spacious and clean. Balconies in certain rooms was a nice touch to enjoy the Amazing Views all around the hotel. Price for a stay this nice was also very reasonable.
Everything was great: the hotel is very modern, well equiped, the sauna and heated indoor/outdoor pool were super, the staff was helpful, and the food at breakfast ans dinner was spectacular.
Friendly and helpful receptionist, nice and peaceful atmosphere. breakfast was worth for the price . Good parking at the hotel and easy access to everything in the property.
