Even though we were only staying one night, Abd, who was on desk-duty when we arrived much too early tyo check in, received us with such a combination of friendliness, efficiency, charm and kindness that we felt like we were the facvourite customers of at least the Ritz!

Good location with own hotel car park. Visiting for the Wagner Festival and hotel provides a very good value coach service to the theatre. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Comfortable room.
Outstanding service. Large breakfast with lots of drinks, fruit, cereals, specialty items (salmon, parfaits), vegetables, and made to order eggs. Hosts took our dinner orders prior to departing for the festival. Hardy homemade meal, although perhaps a smaller selection than other restaurants.
Hosts coordinated a shuttle pickup from the hotel for €30. If you do have your own vehicle, it costs about €10 per day to park at the festival, which it a better value than the shuttle or taxi. It’s a 3-5 min walk from parking to the festival.
