It was quiet and remote but not isolated. Each room has its own patio or balcony. There are three different hotel houses that are apart of the hotel. Each “house” has a nice common room separated by a door to the guest rooms. The staff was really nice and had no problem when we wanted to extend the trip a second day. They spent time letting us know what areas to explore and we actually went to two of their recommendations in one day. The hotel also has private parking but would assume in the on season you may have to reserve it. I absolutely would come back and would recommend to friends. If you are a coffee lover they also include gourmet coffee instead of your normal Keurig Costco brand. They have a super sweet black cat named Nala on property too!
Privately run, this is an historic, country-style guest house in the heart of the Black Forest.

The hotel was quite good, renovated recently - it is atmospheric and nice. Everybody is nice and friendly.
On check out we were given apples and bottled water.
Strong shower, good breakfast and dinner booked in advance is a combination that make it a perfect stay after a long road.
Bonus: Tivoli radio box in the room.
Landhaus Langeck in the Münstertal countryside offers rooms with a balcony or terrace, featuring panoramic views of the Black Forest. Guests can enjoy an indoor pool and a panorama sauna.

very friendly staff, great room and pool, good breakfast
Bed & Breakfast Müllers Klostermühle offers comfortable accommodations and is located in the beautiful and peaceful Münstertal valley region, on the outskirts of the southern Black Forest, close to...

Münstertal is a nice area, although getting a lot of new buildings
Good sites to visit and lots of walking for "happy wanderers".
Fabulous nunnery - St. Trudpert - with an amazing church/chapel.
We, luckily having local knowledge, ate well at Gasthof Sonne and also at Camping Münstertal.
Avoid Hotel Linde, unless you enjoy arrogant and indifferent staff and zero service.

The hotel had many wooden carvings and charming details that reflected its true mountain spirit. The view from the bedroom terrace was very relaxing. I was surprised by the amount of toiletries and small necessities the bathroom had. The room was very quiet and cozy and room temperature was easily adjustable with excellent energy saving thermostat. I loved the breakfast that had a lot of choices for a healthy and tasty start of my day. Oh yeah...Marie Schwartzwald robot is so much fun and excellent addition to the busy team.
Beautifully designed hotel with lovely room and thoughtful accessories. Lovely food in the restaurant and at breakfast. Nice terrace for sitting outside. Very nice friendly staff.
The area is fabulous with lots of other very nice restaurants and cafes.
Spacious fully equipped family apartments. Superb location surrounded by forest. Top attractions near by. Tranquility and beautiful nature straight from your balcony or hotel terrace. Kids were happy to hang there :)
Everybody was very friendly. It’s a good landhaus type hotel. Nothing is really available in walking distance, the village is far and unsignificant. However by car you can reach a lot of things in a short time.
Amazing guesthouse with the most friendly staff/owners you could imagine. Location is excellent and a breakfast you would have expected to have been served in a top London hotel.
