Exceptionally friendly staff - they were really kind, offered advice on places to visit around and very exceptionally forthcoming.
The room had plenty of room for a single room, and was very clean, calm and comfortable. Very modern, too - which I would not have expected from the outside.
The gym is small but well equipped and the sauna is splendid.

The town has a cathedral and interesting old buildings as well as plenty of modern shops especially Hagemayers which had a lovely roof top restaurant. There are plentiful cafes and ice cream shops with seating in the shade.

Hotel ideally situated, close to the city, also on main road for buses to my favourite hypermarket. Alot of history in Minden with old buildings and an old town, very pretty city. Reasonable shopping, including c and a and Woolworths. Well worth a visit. It used to be my first home.
