The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, heating was very good, there is free mineral water for the guests, the breakfast was very delicious with a view over the city. Very quiet place surrounded by nature and just 3 km from Trier by car. The owner of the place is a very nice lady who is doing an amazing job running the place over 40 years! The free parking is very good bonus. Definitely would like to come back!
Located opposite the famous Porta Nigra Gate, this 4-star hotel in Trier offers air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, and traditional food from the Rhineland-Palatinate region.

Very nice hotel, perfect location, kind and professional staff, SPECTACULAR breakfast.
A bit retro but fits the town center's mood greatly.
Very nice wine area! Ideal for the wine lover! You can taste red, white and rose wines (including sparkling and dessert wines) with a variety of qualities. we visited a few wine producers in the area and they offered a tasting free of charge without any obligation. We had a nice 5 course degustation menu with accompanying wines in Hotel Weis. It is also worthwhile trying the Flamkuche in the local restaurants. People in the area are generally very friendly.

Mainly the wine mountains in the area is the attractions, and of course visit to various wineyards for wine tasting, and to taste some good solid German kitchen. Great place for longer walks in the Wineyards, and close to many of famous wine areas.
