We only stayed one night whilst driving from the UK to Italy but really enjoyed our stay. The room was small but comfortable, the breakfast and staff were excellent plus it's in a great location.

Its a cool place. A hotel with horse stables. The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet! Unfortunately for us was the restaurant closed due to a private party. But there are a few small local restaurants nearby. Breakfast is great. But the highlights are the owners. Who are sooooo very nice and friendly. And they have a great very sweet dog… A great place to stop on your way to or from Italy.
The apartment was very well located for our visit to a friend's wedding at the local church. It took about 12 minutes to walk to the local Netto. We were made very welcome and had a good meal at Guesthaus Sonne. A local bus serves the train station on the outskirts of Merklingen.
Location perfect for jourey stopover : just off the motorway.

Staff very very friendly ; i could access my room early and leave luggage.

Hotel is modern with a twist of history which is shown throughout. Clean. Nice evening meal. Excellent breakfast (including cooked). Plenty to choose from. Lacks character.
