A fine hotel located in 5-min walk from the railway station. A spacious room, a comfortable bed, it was quiet at night - we had all we needed for one night stopover in Memmingen. Their other hotel also has a superb restaurant where they serve their own beer, highly recommended.
Situated just steps away from the market square and basilica in the village of Ottobeuren, this 3-star hotel provides a cosy and relaxing base for exploring the Allgäu region.

1. Good Breakfast variety (but holy...the amount of salt in the scrambled eggs is scary). you have almost 19 items you can mix/match for your cereal like cranberries, blueberries, nuts etc. Good variety of cheese, cold meat, pate etc.
2. We found that all rooms sizes aren't the same some huge, some modest and some smaller. We happen to get a side by side room for the small and modest.
3. This hotel also brew their own variety of beer...It's unique and historical too
The Gästehaus am Mühlbach is located in Ottobeuren, next to the marketplace and the Baroque basilica. It offers well-equipped rooms, a daily breakfast buffet and free Wi-Fi internet access.

Fantastic central location. Friendly, helpful staff. Generous sized room - clean, comfortable, good Wi-Fi, decent shower. Air con worked well.
Completed in 2016, this hotel is situated in the heart of Memmingen, offering great access to the train station and airport. WiFi access is provided free of charge at Hotel am Schrannenplatz.

Good location for people using Memmingerberg airport. Unfortunately there was no staff to help despite us informing them of our arrival time. We had asked that we would need a taxi to take us back to the airport at 5 a.m. but there was no one there to help us. We (two people in our mid seventies) were faced with a kilometre walk, dragging our luggage to the airport at 5 a.m. in the morning when it was cold, dark and damp. Get some staff or at least provide notices with info on things like taxis and how to get help with problems that occur.

We in Lviv (and, more general, in Ukraine) know Memmingen...
We in Lviv (and, more general, in Ukraine) know Memmingen mostly as the place of the airport for Wizzair flights from Ukrainian cities.
However, Memmingen itself is a "German-German" city, well-preserved historical sight with a flavour of the old Germany and Bayern.
After crowded and sometimes not very hospital Munich we appreciated that worm welcome we had during our short stay.
I wish we could learn more about this city and I believe we will spend more time there, next time.

Very near to the airport of Memmingem.
Very near to the airport of Memmingem. Good place to saty if you have an early flight.
Very clean, comfortable beds and rooms. Clean bathrooms.
We had an early flight and request for an early breakfast. The breakfast was ready for us at 5.00 am with fruits, sandwich and beverage for our kid and us.

Having the chance to visit the town centre for the evening...
Having the chance to visit the town centre for the evening was a bonus as being here wasn't the point of my trip, I was only transiting through and had an early flight out the following morning. I recommend Skybar as a place to eat and have a few drinks in the town centre.
