What I liked most about Memmingen was the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The town's relatively quiet atmosphere provided a serene escape, while still being close to Memmingen Airport and the town center.
Moreover, Memmingen's location allowed me to easily travel to many major towns in Bavaria, making it an ideal base for exploring the region.

We stopped here because of the proximity to the airport. The town is lovely, very traditional, clean and plenty of facilities. It's not very big but a couple of days would have been nice to spend here!

Unfortunately we only had half a Saturday and evening. We would have visited a museum, but there was no time. The walk around the city, the park, the streets was very pleasant - we saw beautiful buildings, tried local cuisine in an old restaurant.

We used Memmingen as a base for a 4 day family trip.
We used Memmingen as a base for a 4 day family trip. We traveled from Memmingen to Stuttgart, Munich and Neuschwanstein Castle. The town is very well connected by trains to all of these locations and many more.
It is very interesting and beautiful to walk around and offers many shopping opportunities if that interests you.
It takes only around 10 minutes to get to the Memmingen Intl Airport. The airport shuttle stops right at the main train station.
Overall, a very convenient transit spot for everyone flying in to Memmingen.

The town is delightful We arrived by train from Munich the hotel was a 5 minute walk.We had a map of the town and wandered around The following day we followed the map on both routes We found a brewery JoeseppsBrauhaus there we had excellent beer and food.We left the following day via the airport if we had more time we would have taken the train to Lake Constance
I think Memmingham would be an excellent choice to visit and use the train to visit nearby towns.

Memmingen is lovely small town.
Memmingen is lovely small town. If you happen to get there, don't miss the one hour train ride to Lindau am BodenSee, which is by far worth visiting and take one of the boat trips that connect Germany, Austria and Switzerland coastline towns round the lake.

appointed and provisioned with everything you could want and more. wonderful hosts. close to two supermarkets, 15 minutes to station and city. memmingen is fascinating and beautiful, and from the station you can go to Ulm. the alpine villages and the wonders of the Bodensee. the kindness of Mr Roth in collecting me from the station on arrival and then to the airport was so much appreciated.
The shower worked well, good flow, and hot water. Sufficient bed linen was provided (not the usual German tradition of a thin summer duvet in winter with a single pillow). The bed was comfortable. Helpful staff - I had left my toiletries bag at the previous hotel. Very good location for FMM airport. I recommend the pseudo-Taverna opposite the hotel for low cost meal.
Great room, some much space, beautiful shower. Outdoor garden. Beautiful, peaceful architecture. Great sunrise 🌅 view from the room. Good breakfast. Friendly personal. I went to Memmingen for a course. It was absolutely great. One of the beat 3 stars rooms I have been in Germany
We stayed for one night to catch morning fly from Memmingen Airport. Nice bathroom, small well equiped kitchen. Really clean. Big plus for self checking system. Parking place dedicated to every room.
