We came for a couple of days to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The apartment is just wonderful because there is everything you need for a comfortable holiday kitchen with all you need, cleanliness comfort and of course the most important thing is the location with access to beautiful nature.
And the most important thing that made our holiday even more comfortable was the host. Christopher is very friendly and was very quick to help with all our questions.

Medebach is just a town, but with all the facilities you need. The - wider - (Hoch-)Sauerland area is great for all sorts of activities and even just touring - by car or motor bike - and sightseeing. Almost all year long, depending on your taste. We've been in the area when the weather was not that great - still lots to do, but cold rain all day long is not really our taste. We experienced that between (end of) February and late April three times, but last time in June, the weather was great.
The hotel has an excellent interior design,from the hotel entrance, to the cozy ambiance of Restaurant and specially to the hotel room everything was arranged with entailed details of perfection. The quality of the food they serve to their restaurant is above our expectations. Thanks to the Family owner who sincerely entertained their guest from the moment they arrived in hotel until their departure, we truly enjoy our stay in this hotel!!!
Second time here and not the last time for sure. Great location - the apartment, but Medebach is okay too :-) - and friendly hosts. The shopping centre, including ReWe, is 5 minutes away and there are plenty of things to do in the - wider - area. As it is not a minus/negative point for us anyway, writing it here: the apartment is only accessible via an outdoor stairs, so keep that in mind as it could be an issue for others.
Ideal accommodation to discover the beautiful Sauerland, made our vacation complete. Very clean house with everything you need to have a perfect holiday in a peaceful and quiet environment. Hosts were also very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this accommodation for future travelers.
We stayed 9 days, everything you need for groceries you can find in the town of Medebach (3 min drive).
We felt very good in this nice and cosy place. The house was clean, comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. The welcome wine was a nice gesture 😊
We went skiing in Winterberg every day and that was about 15-20 minutes one way commute which is reasonable. In a nearby town Medebach, we try restaurants Troll's Brauhaus and Da Luca which were quite good.

Lovely and clean pool area with slides. Excellent entertainment for the kids and even for the parents!
