The best thing about Lörrach is that it is near the Fondation Beyeler and Basel but with less expensive lodging and restaurants.
The Greek restaurant next to our hotel was fantastic! We ate there twice but there were several other restaurants nearby.

Use it as basecamp while moving house. EXTRA friendly staff. Clean. Nice view on Loerrach. Parking reserved for the hotel on the other side of the street (not secure but this is in a very calm area - I left my truck full of boxes and furnitures there).
Good breakfast. Restaurant is really good (but not cheap).
Stayed here pre covid, our return was a lovely surprise as the whole hotel had a make over and it was very welcoming , bright and cosy. The breakfast is excellent. Expecially the fresh strawberries.
