I am biased because I used to spend annual summer holidays staying with my grandparents when I was little and have loved every minute. Lingen has changed so much over the years but thankfully the Rathaus still remains the same. When I die you shall find Lingen engraved on my heart!

We stayed for one night because of a concert at the Emsland Arena and we were so happy with the location being only a five minute walk away, that way we got to be at the concert super early and stand in the front row ;) The staff at the hotel were also super nice and we also loved the free parking and the night entrance which made it super easy to get in after the concert when the main entrance was closed.
Hotel is located in the Lingen pedestrian area, very nice historic building beautifully renovated and extended. Modern room, good mattress, convenient lift to the upper floors. Efficiently organized late arrival with a PIN code secured key box. Helpful instructions provided after booking for free parking in a 180 m distance from the hotel.
Everything was great - location in the city centre, warm room, all staff was very kind. Breakfast was exceptional! Next to the hotel are located two great places to go for dinner: the Steakhouse and Alte Posthalterei.
We parked our bikes in the parking behind our car. But it would be great if the hotel had a secured place for the bikes.
