The property is very comfortable and well-equipped in a quiet rural location just a few minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot from Kressbronn. Eating breakfast on the balcony looking out onto the village and the fruit trees was a real pleasure. Just round the corner there are lovely views of Lake Constance and it's a short cycle ride to the nearest ferry stage, down into town or up into the hills. The owner is very welcoming and there is lots of information in the flat on what to see and do in the area. There's also a lockable bike store (and a local bike hire firm will deliver e-bikes to the property and collect them). We will certainly stay here again if we return to the area.

The location was excellent, the view of the lake from the dining room and pool were fantastic, even on a rainy cloudy day. As children were only allowed to use the indoor pool at certain times , you can relax around the pool and read.
The selection of food at the breakfast buffet was incredible, something for everyone. An additional bonus was that it was open till 11,30 am. They also had quite a large selection of vegetarian dishes in the evening. Very comfortable box spring beds and a large walk-in shower.

The apartment is large and spacious and has all the amenities for a couple or a family including games and a football table. It is just 7 minutes from town up a dreamy country road that is ideal for walks and experiencing nature. The hosts are very kind and accommodating and did their best to make us as comfortable and welcome as possible.

We liked the swimming area.
We liked the swimming area. It was hot, and what a surprise, Kressbron Naturbad turned out to be one of the best swimming places on the shore. Idyllic, nice clean water, great shady grass picnic area, alps in the background. Playgrounds for smaller kids. What could be better? The small fee is waived when producing the guest card (counter slip of arrivals form at the guest house / hotel).
Train connections to Friedrichshafen and Lindau (and further to Bregenz). Just check the times.
Not quite the scenery and hub of activity that Lindau itself is, the town centre itself is not on the lake shore. But for staying and value, we'd say here again when in the Bodensee area.
