The hotel is beautiful as is the scenery, rooms are spacious , very clean and the beds comfortable. Wifi is strong and fast. The car park is huge and there is a lot of free spaces.
The breakfast was sparse and lacked any really nice traditional local fare. In the past the hotel has a Michelin star ,, i expected more.

The part that I like most about this property was the people that run it.. I believe there was a gentleman, his mother and father who run this property, but I'm not so sure if they were related.
We arrived in pretty bad weather and they welcomed us for the smile even though they said that their English was limited - I could understand them completely .. they offered us an evening meal and breakfast free of charge... so very friendly towards our dogs... if we ever drive back in this direction again, we will definitely stop here very reasonably priced as well

Very lovely end to a long day of mountain biking with the family. The staff were friendly, patient with our German, and flexible (as we needed to rebook), and the rooms were clean and cozy. We had supper in the restaurant and it was the best German food we have had, particularly the Rehe Ragout (venison stew). Very nice buffet breakfast too. Highly recommend!
