A very pleasant one night stay. The room was very well equipped and comfortable and included a nice balcony. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Very friendly staff, and was invited to park my motorcycle in the garage. Will definitely stay here again. Recommend.

I had to find somewhere else to stay.
The hosts were shouting at me and clearly didn't want any guests there.
I had to book another hotel and because it was evening time by the time I had arranged it I almost was left out on the road on my motorcycle all night.
It was terrible.
They have taken my money though and in my book that is dishonest.
A very strange experience at the end of a long journey from Hamburg.

The bed was comfy and clean, breakfast was alright - eggs were perfectly made, but there's only "sunny side up". The room was spacious, as was the bathroom and a very big shower.
Staff is helpful and friendly.
We only stayed overnight, but for people who want to stay longer, it's perfect for hikers, for the area is surrounded with beautiful forests and creeks. There's a swimming pool and a biotope about 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel.
We haven't had the chance to try the food at the restaurant, but I heard good things about it.
The hotel has great charms and character. Full of history. I stayed in an adjacent house across the road and it was like a mini apartment. It was clean, very spacious, and overlooked the hillside. The staff are friendly and the food is top! You are also close to great walking and hiking spots. Check out the Ottoturm!
