Brand new construction. Sparkling clean and everything brand new. Good location if you are going to Nurburgring. Check in was easy- once booked you get an email with code to a lockbox on site and room number. If you have any questions there is a QR code in the room that gets you to the web site for all the hotel details. Hotel was recently constructed -- seemed brand new. During the day there was construction on the ground floor, so not a late morning sleep-in place until the work is completed. Looked like they had a few weeks left to finish up the ground floor. This is a quiet part of Germany, but there are ample restaurants in the area and Nurburgring had lots of facilities.

I had an excellent stay. Contrary to what people were saying, the Wi-Fi was quite good and worked well. The place is super quiet with a beautiful view, and the host was very pleasant. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay!

Kelberg is neatly central to places to visit in the Vulkaneifel and slightly beyond (15m from the lakes of Daun, 1h drive from places like Cochem and Trier). The area generally is woodlands which is great for hiking and mbt/cycling. Kelberg is a very tidy and quiet town with a good bakery/bistro and decent restaurants and two supermarkets. Not too touristy, which people like me enjoy best.

Rooms were well cleaned and tidy. Furnitures are new and looks good. (all ikea brand) There is a parking lot front of the hotel for few cars. Hotel owner responses so quick to the messages by the booking.com
The area was lovely and all the people I met in Kelberg were very friendly and welcoming. The apartment itself was very nice with great views and natural light from the large windows.
