It was in a quiet place near the Naab River, centrally located within easy walking distance to amazing views and sights.
The breakfast was simple, yet delicious and filling and reasonably priced.
The owner was polite and friendly, she went out of her way to help us when there were things we didn’t know the location of.
The hike up the hill to the castle that overlooks the town of Kallmünz has amazing views that are well worth the effort.
The location was exceptional. Beautiful scenery next to a lovely natural peaceful river. Hotel was easy to find and the reception and breakfast was very good. The hotel belongs in the highest category for quality of workmanship and cleanliness. Beautiful wooden fittings and carvings as well as some very good wall paintings promoting the area.
Good hotel pension, nice people. We booked the 2 storey maisonette, and bathroom is not on the same level as bedroom. Balcony with a lovely view. Superb location. Comfortable bed, had a good night rest, very secluded quiet location. Will book again but will ask for an en-suite room.
A perfect location for a visit to Kallmunz. It was our second visit to Pension Im Malerwinkel and too short a visit but it was just as special as the first visit and we will come again.
