We loved the location, and it was close to our family. Wish we had more time to explore the area, Jork is a quaint small town. I loved that the owners where so accommodating we arrived very late, and they made sure we were able to get into our room. The next morning at breakfast they made sure everything was to our liking.

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk to Jork central where there are restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and supermarket. the hotel has its own restaurant with Greek-German cuisine. The morning breakfast was hearty in the cozy restaurant. Frau Heinderich managing the checkin/out and breakfast service was very friendly and efficient.
This is probably the best value for money I have ever had at any hotell. The hotell is right next to the Elbe dyke and if you walk up on the dykes you can have a magical view over the Elbe. While a bit out of the way from central Hamburg, it's only 20 minutes away from the historical town of Stade.
The best experience of booking hotel was Hotel Alte Schmiede Jork. Made our stay very comfortable even they took alot care of my 11 months boy. The Breakfast was amazing...... I will recommend this to every one
