This is a beautiful spot in the countryside. If you like to hike, it would be great. Even though it was chilly and rainy we could see birds,ducks and swans. The steaks in the restaurant were great. They survived our very limited German. They asked how we found them. Not many Americans have visited.

Beautiful, isolated location. Very close to mountain hiking. Comfortable rooms and nice decor inside and out. Lovely green with lounge chairs. Almost all guests were Germans.
Very good breakfast and nice restaurant for dinner.
I didn’t get to the spa. The sauna opens in the afternoon.

Beautiful city to visit if you enjoy long walks in nature (just be prepared for the wind 😁). With breathtaking landscapes and a beautiful city center, it is also extremely easy to travel to nearby cities and enjoy the wonders that the Thuringia region has to offer.
It was a nice hotel, very neat and clean, cosy, nice breakfast buffet. We arrived late, and the staff arranged for us to enter and find the key to our room. Quiet, and very comfortable beds. A very good opportunity to test our knowledge of German language.

Panoram sauna on the 4 floors is one of the best sauna where I was before.
