the place is good to stay and I ate in front of a restaurant dönner, it is sometimes not easy to get there if you are not traveling by car. about the management and staff is unorganized and not friendly and cooperative. do not have the value of a customer and do not care about any customer even if the are waiting for check-in or check-out. if compare with price i can say not value of money.

We were in Idar-Oberstein to visit the gem mine on a recent trip to Germany. We got into town late, slept, and checked out in the morning. We communicated through email that our arrival would be later than initially planned and the response was quick (and in English), with a phone number to call when we arrived. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and spoke English well. When we woke in the daylight, the views from the room were amazing.
Super nice, 5 stars staff. Breakfast is wide-range and good. Clean. Parking possibilities behind the hotel, on the next street. I think a car is beneficial to reach everything Idar-Oberstein. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. The center is only 5-10 min walk.
it is a very cosy hotel. Feels like home. very nice and friendly staff. Nice location. Also charger for electric car available not far from the property.
