A wonderful traditional German Nordsee retreat
Returning for a third time, it was great to see that over the summer the improvements & renovations we have seen on previous stays have now been completed. With a New Sauna being wired in as we stayed.
The 'reading room/lounge' complete with its self service coffee machine & drinks is a warm refuge if the weather prevents getting outside.
We were not disappointed with the Breakfast! Eat as much and you want & take as long as you like.
Dinner in the Restaurant is traditional fare & well served. Wines 7 Beers flow well & are very reasonably priced.
To step outside of the hotel & be directly in the wonderful Wattenmeer Unesco biosphere with its incredible sights & sounds of large flocks of Geese & other birds is stunning, any Bird/Nature Lover will be very content here with many local places to observe with trails, hides & walks and two visitors centres in walking distance!
If you are ok with Bicycles, this is the area for you with many Kilometres of dedicated Cycle paths. The Hotel has Electric Cycle Hire even!
We will return in 2025!

It is a super small town so I would say 1 day is enough. We were lucky there was a festival going on otherwise it is really a place to chill and relax providing good weather. It rained and we had the dog so we couldn't go to many places but our trip was chill relax eat and hygge so this was what we felt.

Husum is not very large, but large enough to provide everything you need. There are good public transport links to many places, at least 3 large supermarkets, a local market on certain days, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. The little harbour area is lovely to walk around.

The location is 100% in the center and absolute great! The best hotel I spent a night in Husum.
Spa is very good - 3 saunas, relax room, free drinks, very clean showers.
Perfect service and most modern. A very bright and various breakfast. The price is more than valuable.
PS: Parking at the lovely yard is an additional plus, even the bar in-house is.
Nothing to claim - absolute nothing.
Great location, we basically parked the car and did not move it again. Delicious breakfast and you had a huge selection. The rooms had a view, they were very quiet as Husum was extremely quiet as well. We also enjoyed a couple of drinks outside as it was a great day. An all-around pleasant experience
