It was one of the best stays we had evere had. We stayed there only one night but everything was perfect, The host waited for us although we arrived at 11 pm. The rooms perefectly clean, beds comfortable.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM!
The hotel is closed and looks abandoned. Needed to call them, it was difficult to talk to them. For some reason they assumed I am Ukrainian.
No check in, no documents, some lady gave me a key at the parking. Then she showed me a room in en empty building with an open main door, no key, intercom, nothing. The whole town seemed asleep, but there was some man sitting in front of the building?
It felt like some shady business, not safe at all, they dont keep any records, give you key at the parking...
I left and find another hotel by the highway. Wasted time and money.

A very good breakfast served at the table. Location was excellent with a lovely park and an attractive village. Bayreuth is very accessible and not far via either the motorway or local roads. The Fichtelgebirge are not far away for hiking and various outdoor activities.
