Hotel Landgasthof Zur Traube is a family-run hotel with its own butcher's shop. It lies in the village of Oggenhausen, 3 km from the A7 motorway and a 30-minute drive from Legoland Germany.
We could have stayed in Heidenheim a *little* (not "much")...
We could have stayed in Heidenheim a *little* (not "much") longer, to see the Roman museum, for example. The reason for the visit was a performance of Tannhäuser at the summer Opernfestpiele. It was very high quality, even though moved at short notice (actually, without any on-site notice at all) from the picturesque outdoor ruined-castle setting to a nearby conference centre. This actually benefited it in terms of acoustics.
The hotel receptionist refused to accept the payment I already made via booking.com I was forced to pay again at the hotel.
I was unfairly charged twice. I Conplained multiple times but no one helped.
I.asked the hotel to contact booking.com but they refused and insisted in forcing me to pay again.
Never again !!!
Great hotel just outside the centre of Heidenheim. There is an underground link to the next door pool which is fab extra - perfect as it was so hot when we stayed!
