We asked for tea making facilties in the room and were pleasantly surprised with the huge variety of teas provided. Also as the temperature was unusually high for the time of the year, the staff left a cooling fan in the room. Very convenient and ample parking areas, lovely patio with comfortable sitting. Excellent breakfast choices, with honey in a honeycomb, which you do not see very often. Cannot fault it.

Location (opposite the rail station but quiet) was fine for me. I photograph trains. When booking, we requested (and were given) a room with a view of the railway. Good sized room and big bed.
Lehrte is not an obvious choice for tourism but is only 10 minutes from Hannover by frequent fast trains and offers a more cost effective stay than the often expensive city. Local restaurants were also less expensive than Hannover with good food, Pleasant room, cleaned each day.
Gasthaus Zur Post has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Uetze. The property is around 35 km from HCC Hannover, 36 km from Hannover Central Station and 36 km from Main Station Hildesheim.

Beyond expectations!! Such a lovely hosts, very chatty helpful and most important friendly that you have feeling you are staying at your relatives rather than at motelf. Feels like home.
Food was amazing ! Everything fresh, vegetable from the garden, meat from the farm. We even got a snack for our doggy 🙏🏼. When comes to breakfast- never had in my life such choice. We felt sorry leaving food on the table as we couldn’t eat that much. Really Sven and Bjorn will look after you ! We had such a pleasant stay and would definitely be back.

Friendly staff and clean hotel. Food in restaurant was nice and reasonable price. You have to order food by 8:30 pm so we placed a pre order for mains while we got changed and showered. Provided a separate secure room for our bikes.
