Halle is quite an attractive city with lots of old style buildings and cobbled streets. However it lacks atmosphere and is quite a boring place. We were visiting my daughter who is currently based there working so we had a good time, but it's not a place I would go back to apart from to visit her, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Such an interesting city!
Such an interesting city! Two castles, an interesting bar/pub/cafe scene, you can feel the energy and buzz from the young people around the university and art school. Great public transport, a lot of history, and also a wealth of public green areas. The Saale valley is lovely for walks, canoing and boat trips and makes you forget the city with its attractions is just a few steps away.

The city ils very interesting concerning historical monuments mainly all around the Markt,scattered in différent places (for exemple the Moritz Burg.I was very delighted by thé cultural aspect of the city .what it dioes concern the gastronomical activity you have a great choice of différent cooking I was enjoying my stay very well.

The apartmenthaus is located just next to the centre. We were two families, there was place only for one car at hotel parking, but we were offered another place in a parking house just few minutes by walk from the hotel. At the same price. We stayed only for one night so it was great for evening walk in the city centre with a very nice dinner. There were lots of opportunities to eat well.
The hotel personal answered very quickly to our questions.

We booked the hotel for one night as a place to sleep near the highway. The location is really close to the highway, the surrounding area around the hotel is not just something, and the hotel itself is ok. Check in is simple and fast, the receptionist was at our service. The room is big (there were 3 adults - one kingsize bed and a foldable sofa bed); Big bathroom. Breakfast is on the ground floor and has a sufficient choice of meals.
Friendly staff, nice and clean room, good shower. Parking basement under the hotel. The breakfast was good, a quite big selection. The staff filled up the buffet many times. Good coffee! Good shopping center near by. We were there for a festival which was 3KM from the hotel.
