Excellently located in the Schwarzwald region with great hiking trails nearby.
Spacious room with plenty of cupboard space and good beds.
The food was great: excellent breakfast and a 4-course dinner with good variety. All staff were friendly and very accommodating. Due to heavy traffic we arrived later than expected and although the restaurant had just closed, they served us dinner anyway.
We enjoyed our daily swim in the pool and a hot sauna.
It is a beautiful rural setting in a quaint village close to a snowy peak and also close to the city of Freiburg. The owners are very friendly and helpful and although they spoke almost-no English, we managed to find a way to communicate. The flat had beautiful views and was comfortable.
Very close to Freiburg by car and, at the same time, excellent location to relax in the heart of nature. Our room was standard, but comfortable and clean, and the hotel staff very helpful. A big plus: The Greek restaurant within the hotel serves delicious food.
Location of hotel but when we arrived it was all closed and we found it very difficult to get access. Luckily we found two very helpful German women who went to find staff, who then came and let us in.
