Great hostess, it's basically a house in which a lovely lady lives in a part of the house down stairs separate from the guest quarters but always available for assistance and the first floor 3 rooms and a kitchen with a electric stove, freezer, sink, tables, basically everything you need if you choose not to eat out and cook yourself a meal or chill some cheap beer from the store nearby. Room was comfortable with a big bed, 2 sets of blankets, towels, a tv, closet, controllable heaters, 2 windows, very quiet, very clean, nice bathroom with a shower cabin. Price was great for some conditions i didn't even have in a 4 star hotel. I highly reccomend a stay here if you are in the area. The place is basically 3 train stations away from the center of berlin, meaning a 30 min train trip. The house also has a nice backyard and a place to sit at a table and throw a few cold ones and I bet if you ask nicely, the lady there might even hook you up with a barbecue. Amazing location and beautiful property. There are stunning views from the balcony, almost feels as though you're in the French Riviera if the weather is right. The reduced fee for SaarowTherme entry was a nice surprise

Haus am Spreebogen is an exceptional, inexpensive hotel. My room was very spacious and clean, if a bit plain and simple (perfectly fine for the price). The real highlight of this place is its staff. I arrived very late, after the front desk closed, and the hotel staff really went out of their way to make sure my check-in will be smooth regardless. Friendliest people ever.
