The property was very clean, very modern and had everything we needed. Even if it didn’t, the host lived next door and would provide what you’d require.
This entire area in Germany, perhaps not Friesoythe in...
This entire area in Germany, perhaps not Friesoythe in particular, is for me anyway, incredibly boring. The roads are narrow and continually change from 50-70-80-100 back and forth with speed cameras everywhere for kilometers and kilometers..Even where it is marked 100 people drive 70. It makes me crazy. Furthermore, beside these strips of roads between flat fields, everythig smells of fertilzer, and there is nothing to see. Because of the strip roadways, there are no real village centers, chrurches, musuems, etc. and because of farming, no forests either. This northwestern area of Germany near dutch border should be avoided. P.S. Sorry if I have offended anyone; but I know Germany and this is my honest personal opinion based on experience.

Nice place by the road, the forest is just ahead from the hotel, so if you like jogging it is a very good place for you. It is possible to rent a bike as well. The room was big enough, the bathroom very big. The food in the restaurant was excellent in the evenings.
