the hotel is in the very center of Freyburg. The building is old, stylish, renovated. My room was very clean and comfortable. It the evening it was rather noisy (people parking cars and slamming doors), but after 23h it was quiet.

Great place to stay in Freyburg if you have a car or a bicycle. About 30 minutes walk from the centre of town (past vineyards) and about 15 minutes uphill walk to the castle. The hotel has a good view from the restaurant terrace down onto vineyards. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were fine. The restaurant has a good balanced range of fresh food and a decent selection of local wines. The outdoor terrace is a great place to sit on a sunny day. The breakfast buffet offers a good spread of choices.
