Easy access, parking behind the house. Friendly reception. We arrived late and found the key in a safe outside the hotel. A big spacious bed. Good bathroom. Between the bedroom and the entrance door is s little hall with a large empty wardrobe and space for suitcases and hanging up coats. Very useful. The breakfast buffet was all fresh and good. Nothing exceptional, but good.
The Hotel Stadt Emmerich is centrally located between the River Rhine and Emmerich Train Station. The hotel offers a traditional beer garden and free parking on site.

The hosts and quality of the food brought this beautiful hotel to life. It has quite the history, and the owner is a very kind and entertaining man who will share it with you. Rooms are clean and well equipped, if a bit dated. Beds are older, fine for a night but the pillows aren't the best for a nights sleep. Honestly, we didn't even mind we loved the food and host so much. It was a very welcomed stopover and we will pass again for dinner anytime we're in the area.
Owner of the hotel was very attentive. We booked a twin room as it was an all male party, but when we arrived we had a double bed with twin mattress's, which was not ideal. The owner of the hotel moved us to a suite. Food in the restaurant was the best meal we had on our 10 day tour around Germany and Holland
I love this hotel right in the middle of the town. The rooms are great. The food is excellent and you can eat outside and view the world go by. It is used by the locals which is a very good sign. The staff are polite and the service quick. The proprieter speaks perfect English.
Very friendly staff, very nice location in the center of Elten. Perfect stay for business or private traveling and relaxation. 2nd time I stayed at this hotel I will be back. Thank you!
