It was a short stay in Elmshorn, so really not possible to rate the city. We did try a great restaurant in the city center that was good. It was an Italian restaurant, I believe it was called "Regazzi". Real Italian pizza's.

The food was delicious and with a wide variety, the rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable. Location is beside the highway, but as other comments pointed out, not really disturbing. Great parking options (hotels’ parking area always had free slots), very helpful and playful staff.
Breakfast in the hotel is a good idea as there is no supermarket or bakery in the immediate vicinity. It is also good value for money. The hotel is new and in walking distance to the train station and city center, so a good alternative to the much more expensive hotels in Hamburg.
The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre and offers plenty of parking bays for guests at no extra charge. The price/standard relationship is correct. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, but for the price paid, it is okay. The staff is kind and helpful.
Nicely renovated hotel, 24 hours manned reception, great hospitality and rooms, excellent and very helpful hotel employees, especially receptionists. Highly recommending to everyone, especially business people. Looking forward visiting you again.
