The staff was super friendly and accommodating for everything. We needed to extend our stay and they arranged that for us without changing rooms. Note: we were not in the hotel itself, but in a room in the residential building across the street. We did stay for dinner there on most nights, the burgers are awesome.

Lots of restaurants, they dont specifically cater from English speaking on the menus. I found a steakhouse and the food looked amazing, what I got was Ok and it filled the hole, the price was very reasonable. Not many bars, but nice to have a sit outside the many restaurants and have a drink. I went out around 8pm and came back around 10pm, it felt very safe in the centre, lots of older people around(70+), sitting, eating and drinking, which gave a good sign to me that this was a safe city.

I was only in Duisburg for the night but it had a large tourist information office by the main station which could of provided lots of potential attractions. There was an old town and plenty of bars and restaurants especially Arab and Turkish due to their large population within Duisburg.

The apartment where we stayed was not in the centre of Duisburg, we were in Auf Dem Damm. Absolutely nothing to do, two bar restaurants one closed at 20.00 and the other at 22.00. Other than that the last train from Duisburg Centre to our area stops one station short of our destination and had to get a taxi at an extra cost of 25 euros. Only by the kind action of an English speaking German man who phoned on our behalf did we get home safely. Duisburg is not a holiday destination.

Amazing place, Zimmer meets all requests, very comfortable.
Amazing place, Zimmer meets all requests, very comfortable. Owners are amazing people, every request was answered immediately. Close to the airport, close to Dusseldorf. A green and quiet place. Just perfect. Thank you
This is where I love to stay whenever I need to stay overnight in this part of Germany after an event in a mix of cities - Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Mülheim, Cologne, etc. It is a very good value-for-money, no-frills hotel within walking distance of the Central Station (Hbf). You can check in using a machine and it is all very easy.
helpful and polite staff already on site, but not all people can communicate in English; lovely panorama of the river and city; very quiet but not very safe (post-industrial) neighborhood; purely; the furniture and interior are a bit old-fashioned, but that's the charm of Germany ;)
The most cleanest, comfortable, and great place I have ever experienced in Germany actually,me and my family loved the place and didn’t wanted to leave but we had to 😄, the best service, you don’t need to take anything with you but your clothes 😁highly recommended.
Really great location just outside the entrance to the Hauptbahnhof. Approximately 5 minutes walk from hotel to all platforms. Staff were super friendly and the rooms are a good size.
it was modern, clean and good enough for one person. I was planning to work in Duisburg university and being close to the university was a big plus for me.
