What a fantastic place to spend Christmas! We spent only one night and we wish it would have been longer!!! The Hotel is decorated is a very appealing tasteful way, each room has a theme; ours was London, New York and a Pirate ship. Each floor has a theme, which I explored with delight... BUT Nothing is over done and very very CLEAN! there is a game room for adults and kids, a movie theatre room, bar with wide variety to choose from. Beds were super comfy and Breakfast was very good (assorted breads, cheeses, scrambled and boiled eggs, jams, variety of drinks. ) We arrived on Christmas Eve and expected not to find any where to eat, BUT the host suggested a lovely Italian Restaurant, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Next time we'll stay for a week!

A wonderful German experience in an old family owned hotel. Fantastic location, and super accommodating as I was traveling by myself. The food was delicious, (Pumpkin soup w coconut milk and Black Forest trout) the service exceptional and oh my, the Black Forest cake!

What a lovely European experience. If you want a quaint BnB type stay, not the commercial Airbnb apartment rental, this is it! You will be transported back in time to where weary travelers need safety and a warm meal served by the innkeeper. Who also, is a little like your grandmother! We really got a kick out of the personal tour of our room, including which buttons do what on the TV remote control! Just a lovely place to lay your head and get a personalized touch to your experience! Did you lay your swimsuit on the radiator to dry? Nonna will bring in an unobtrusive drying rack to hang it on properly!

Everything was great, except that a net mosquito at the windows is missing. We found mosquito, flies and night butterflies in the bathroom. And, when closing the windows it was getting too hot inside.

The hotel is great and the staff is very nice.
The hotel is great and the staff is very nice. Always available to help and asking if everything is ok. The room and the bathroom are very spacious and the breakfast is very good, with a lot of variety to choose from.
The location is perfect to rest and get away from the city. I totally recommend this hotel in case you need to disconnect and want to spend a few days in the nature.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations - such an exceptional stylish hotel in a small town (not far from Baden Baden and only few minutes away from Bad Wildbad. I've never seen such pet-friendly hotel; the price was very decent, breakfast was really good, rooms, restaurant, lobbies were decorated with stylish metal decorations // collection items or hunting trophies. wi-fi worked well. I don't know what could have been better.
