This is a nice modern hotel. Rooms are modern and clean. Ample free on-site parking. Hotel has a lift. Nice staff and very good breakfast. Mini Bar in room has a nice selection of drinks at great prices (beer 1.50 Euro and schnapps for 2 Euros). City Center is about 10 minutes away by foot.

We went there for the Samba festival weekend, it was really amazing and worth checking if you are into this type of thing. Mixed ages, everyone was dancing on the streets, great street food, excellent performances and great small or big Samba bands from all over Europe! The after-party at the Congress Hall was great and indoors!

The Hotel is perfect in every respect, it exceeds your expectations. The management is really efficient, generous and very friendly. If you are lucky, you can get a surprise free breakfast. By the way, breakfasts are really great by any standards.
The location is perfect, the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is so dog friendly that they don't charge extra fees.
I strongly recommend The Goldene Traube, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Lovely hotel, much, much better than expected. The staff were great, the rooms really comfortable and the breakfast one of the best I have had! The location was great too with only a 20 minute walk to the centre of town.
