Visited Eberswalde as part of a cycling trail. Location lies slightly out of the centre, but makes up for it in terms of price/quality. Hotel rooms are in the back of the terrain, decent sized rooms. Bike could be stored safely, and hotel also has a restaurant on site, so overall a good one-stop place if you're traveling.

The staff were wonderful. Very comfortable room with a kettle and fridge. If you didn't feel like breakfast, there is a supermarket and bakery right beside the Hotel. The staff in Yaman grill restaurant looked after us very well, smiley and friendly. Thank you.

Highly recommend Seehotel Muelhenhaus and Chorin area to those who seek forests and lakes.
It is perfectly safe to walk around this area and enjoy the nature during daytime. People are very friendly too, even i am asian and speaks english only. Won’t be surprised when locals are greeting you and please say Hallo back.
Be aware of the fairly long distance if walking from either Eberswalde or chorin train station to this hotel. You can rent a bike at Chorin station but not sure about Eberswalde. There is no staff or machine selling ticket at Chorin station. Either you buy your return ticket beforehand or on the return train when the ticket inspector approaches you.
Nothing more needs to say, simply relax and experience something different from Berlin.
A big room with a big shower on the first floor. The location in the countryside surrounded by forest was very peaceful. There was plenty of parking out the front of the hotel. The restaurant food was very good with great service.
