Very cute old building, the lady at the front desk was very kind. She spoke no English but we managed to figure things out. Breakfast was really good and she (same lady from check in the night before) was very sweet and attentive.

Nice, cosy, litlle town, with an beautyful old castle, on the edge of a cliff, right on the border with Austria; just a river separate the two country, and the trespassing border bridge it's near to the castle, down from the cliff!
Excellent modern hotel with friendly staff. After some disappointments with previous hotels on our road trip, this hotel made a refreshing change. A little more expensive perhaps, but well worth it.
It’s right where you want to be in Burghausen! Off street parking for free right at the hotel, and just an awesome vibe! We were actually sad to go on to our next vacation destination...
