We expected a classic German old house, since we stayed also in the same area last year but in a different hotel. However, to our surprise the hotel was renovated with all modern facilities. The rooms, bathroom and toilets were exceptionally clean.
The location was excellent! We rented two rooms, one of which has access to balcony with a view of the river which was breathtaking!
We loved the arrangement for the breakfast, there were a lot of varieties. In addition to that the owners were really kind. Everyday after breakfast they offered us to take some fruits with us, since we were travelling with young children and they might get hungry on the way. They also recommended us places to visit, which were not very crowded yet the best places to go!
Overall it is a very nice place to stay with family. Highly recommended.
