Friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast selection very good, and had 3 excellent dinners (12 seater restaurant mainly for guests, so recommend reserving since limited options in the village). Quiet location even though adjacent to Mosel Wine Route. Modern bathroom, and comfortable beds (medium firmness). Off-road parking 20 meters away.

Brauneberg is a small, sleepy village on the banks of the Mosel. It has a good bus service to the surrounding area even on a Sunday.
We first visited Brauneberg for a wine tasting in the village. There are many vineyards that offer wine tastings (the wine is good too!). We went back for a second visit and wine tasting. Looking forward to the next visit already.

Brauneberg is a picturesque "dorf" with the Mosel River and the wine parcels as a fantastic frame.
There are several "weingut" in the town, but my favorite is Martin Conrad, just across the street from the hotel.
The best restaurant in town is Juffer Flair Steinmetz—a beautiful view of the river and excellent service, together with tasty and reasonably priced dishes, is topped with a lovely garden arrangement.
In Mülheim you will find a grocery store. In Ferienhotel Brauneberg you will have breakfast to your liking, but you have to prepare it yourself from what you have available. So, a visit to the Netto store in Mülheim is required, unless you prefer to get it served somewhere else.
A walk along the river on Nussbaum alle is a must! Enjoy the views to the vineyards and get the feel of Mosel's environment.

Small village along the river banks
Small village along the river banks
It is indeed a Romantic destination with some wineries totally worth to visit.
Quiet, calm and relaxing.
Visit the local bakery for a great start of the day
To try are the local delicacies, though as a vegetarian I had little options
A walk along the river or bike rental on sunny afternoons are well recommended
People are welcoming and familiar, cosy hearted environment that gives you feel of Home place

It is a very quiet Mosel village but features the longest actual "Mose promenade", i.e. the longest street with restricted car access directly at the shores of the Mosel. This is breathtakingly beautiful. Accomodations at Nussbaumalle often have rooms or gardens/terraces with a view to the Mosel and the Juffer Vineyards. It is ideal for a stay with small children as the street is very quiet and has a nice playground with Mosel views. Moreover, there are a few nice and cozy restaurants and local wineries in the village -and a bakery - a traditional one with really good quality products open from 6 in the morning every day of the week. A supermarket is 3-4 km away. We recommend a car when you travel with children and want to see more of the area. I largely prefer Brauneberg to very "touristy" villages like Bernkastel-Kues, because they remain a lot quieter and you can experience a true village feeling. For families we recommend "La Mosella" Pizzeria which is right opposite the playground and has good Pizza and nice and friendly staff and a terrace with a view to the river. During the weekend of May 1st there was also a "Weinstand" a little hut with selling local wine and a hut from a local butchers with steak and Wurst. I think Brauneberg is a truly magical Mosel village.

Brauneberg is a traditional town of just 1,129 people, with a history as far back as 588, and is famous for it’s vineyards and delicious wines!
It's surrounded by hills and fields of grape vines, so we spent quite a few hours hiking up and down the hills, which we absolutely loved!
Note: We arrived during the flooding of the Rhineland-Palatinate region which put a damper on things, but the local people of the village, nevertheless did their best to make us feel welcome.

We had a fantastic stay and the hostess was amazing and really did everything to help us find acitivities as well as restaurant recommendations. The room we had was great and could fit all 5 of us with a loft that the kids loved.
During our 2022 roadtrip we visited over 10 different hotels and everyone in the family rated every breakfast we had on the way and the one at JufferPanorma got the highest rating of them all!!!
Brauneberg is a smaller village but we loved it, nice walk along the river with a few restaurant/wine bars
Nice location in the wineries of Brauneberg. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. It was possible to taste the wines of Gehlen-Cornelius in the lounge of the hotel. But there was no bar with snacks or food.. From the room, you have a great view of the wineries. Brauneberg is a small town, and there is not much to do. There are a lot of hikes in the direct neighborhood of the hotel. It was also possible to rent ebikes in the hotel.
The price is really attractive, but the room is very comfortable.
The apartment is very well equipped with everything. You can cook and wash clothes.
The hotel is nearby the riverside, nice views with walking.
Spacious room. Good bathroom facilities with limited complimentary toilettries. Very clean. Table/chairs in room to sit & eat at. Free parking behind hotel.
self check in, rooms sparkling clean, a free kitchen with all needed so you can go to the bakery, grab something and have it with a cofee from the hotel
