Excellent location - easy to find once you're on the main street of the old city and easy to walk to and from the train station. The room was almost comically huge for me since I travelled solo, but I liked it. The room decor was more on the Old World side with red and gold, but it wasn't overdone and was still very nice; I almost did feel like I was King Ludwig himself staying there !

Very beautiful location. Very clean and cozy hotel. Very helpful and welcoming host (We had to cancel our booking due to lack of tickets to the Neuschwanstein castle. But later we bought them and the host kindly agreed to reopen our booking. Thank you once again!). The dinner and the breakfast were very tasty. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The castles are 30-40 minutes away of driving.
We loved our stay here! A family run restaurant and hotel, the rooms and bathrooms were spotless, the beds suuper comfy and the rooms had everything you needed. The outdated looking hairdryer was pure magic. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and we felt welcome at all times. We will come back for sure! Thank you!
The owner of the hotel is a very kind lady. An elderly lady with glasses in the hotel restaurant is very kind and helpful. The breakfast in the hotel is excellent and unforgettable! For self driving families, staying overnight in this hotel is a good choice.
