Staff were so friendly. An old-fashioned sort of hotel with lots of charm.

Cosy little hotel located in an idyllic neighbourhood close to nature, with some open fields you can explore nearby, but also close enough to a tram station so you can get to Cologne in less than 30 minutes. The room I got had an outdoor area with a bench and a table to chill at. Late check in is available in the form of retrieving key to your room from the lockbox outside the main entrance (the one with the brochures). Check your mobile or bookings.com app for instructions to collect the key. The owner speaks English and is super nice. Great breakfast too. The owner even gave me a pair of crutches when she found out I had a leg injury prior to arrival.
This hotel is in a large park in the district of Bensberg, a direct underground ride from Cologne city centre. The centre of Bergisch Gladbach is a 10-minute drive away.

After the chaotic Köln full of drunk people and drug addicts (seemingly because of the EURO 2024), this place was an oasis of peace and common sense :)

Everything about this apartment was absolutely beautiful, clean, luxurious, full of tiny details that made everything perfect!
The reason we thought the location was so good was that we wanted to visit the Mediterrana Spa on the way home, and that was a 15 minute drive away… though I’m sure it’s well connected to Cologne.
Very good value for money, hoping to stay here again!
The staff was very nice, the hotel is very spacious with a nice outdoor area, and they offer all kinds of services for the guests. They made bookings for us, helped us with questions and offered to bring us to our room. The room was great, slightly old appliances but comfortable, clean, spacious, nice lighting, quiet, comfy beds, pretty look.
I liked how convenient and stress-free this hotel was as a two day stopover while travelling. Parking outside the door, simple come and go for room access. Room comfortable and very functional. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed staying here.
