Just 6.2 mi from the North Sea coast, Hotel Zum Großen Krug in Wirdum has free Wi-Fi internet and bright rooms. The family-run guest house is in a quiet location in the East Frisian countryside.
We chose the location based on visiting the Kirche am Suurhusen and were delighted with the proximity. We also discovered other things in the area. The hotel met our expectations. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was of good size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was to a good standard. We had dinner in the hotel and enjoyed the local Friesian dishes on offer. A great base to explore the area. The Moormuseum in Mordorf is a must.
