The first day I asked to heat some water for the baby, they gave me hot water for tea, which I never used, but paid for.
One tip, avoid eating in restaurants, very poor quality of food, and prices that are absurd compared to quality of food, long waiting times (we waited for 1 hour for food to arrive).
Really poor breakfast, in some 2-star hotels you eat better.

We ended up in Badenweiller quite by accident.
We ended up in Badenweiller quite by accident. The hotel that we had booked for our overnight stop from Italy to the UK........did not meet out expectations on our journey to Italy 2 weeks before. So we cancelled and happened upon a beautiful hotel in Badenweiller. This little town itself was breathtaking. Beautiful views and beautiful restaurants. Everyone was lovely and we will definately be returning.
We stayed at the Hotel Markgräfler Hof and ate at the Ratskeller restaurant, where the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Ratskeller has the best spagetti and pizza. My kids loved it.Lots to see and do. Wellness perfect. Must do the hot baths and wellness centre. Friendly locals. Walking paradise . Peace and tranquillity!
Beautiful roman surrounding
Well equipped apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay and access to clean towels. The apartment has shades and blinds which helps to keep the heat out during warm days. We only had a few hot days and nights are generally cool. From the house it's a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Badenweiler and the thermal baths through a lovely park. Badenweiler is small but a gateway to Freiburg, Basel and the Schwarzwald but also to Colmar, Mulhouse and the Vosges.
We loved how the staff immediately made us feel at home. the room was large, comfortable, and very accommodating. The location of the hotel was so close to town, spa, restaurants, bike rentals, and tourist attractions. Thank you for making our stay amazing. It was a great place to celebrate 23 years of Marriage.
