It was a nice place to stay, quiet and peaceful, located in the countryside but not too far from many interesting sights (Neuschwanstein, Linderhof, Bodensee, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Obersdorf, Munich). We drove to Kempton and traveled by train to some of these places. Enough space in the flat, with WiFi. Pleasant hosts.

Room was newly renovated. Beautiful view and within a short walk to the Basilica. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Good breakfast in a traditional southern German setting.

It was perfect:the was staff super friendly and very polite, the room was cozy, silent with an incredible view of the snowy landscape and the overall atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend.

This is a pretty family run hotel easy to find in the centre of the village. I think if it’s full parking may be an issue.
The restaurant in the evening served wonderful home cooked food. The chef could speak very good English and came out to explain everything to us and made recommendations. There was water in the bedrooms. I found the bedroom very very hot for me. But I would recommend a stay here and I would stay again.

McDonalds is at the back of the apartment, its a short walk to the shopping centre over the back and there is a garage at the end of the road. Bad Gronenbach is under the motorway a couple of restaurants and 2 supermarkets but well worth a visit.
Make sure when you book with booking.com the hotel is open. When we arrived at 7.30 pm the road was closed and as we were on a motorbike we had to ride across the grass verge to get in.
Thankfully our room was waiting for us. Check the road works on your journey there as we were held up and arrived 3 hours late.
