The room was very nice, clean and well equipped The hotel staff was very welcoming and always there to answer my questions.

We ended up staying at the hotel not the gastehaus because the matter didn’t have an elevator.

Set in its own grounds in the Pfalzer Wald forest, a mile outside the center of Bad Bergzabern spa town, this historic, family-run hotel offers comfortable accommodations with beautiful views.
Lovely town quite ‘Hansel-and-Gretlish’. Shame about the hotel.
Found reception rather off-hand, the room was not in the building shown in the picture but in an annexe. No lifts, no assistance to get to the top floor!

Great room, lots of space, had everything you could ask for. Very clean. Felt safe and secure. 5min walk to town where there were restaurants, etc, and passed a bakery on the way that opened at 6am.
The location is very good. It’s located directly on a park, close to a thermal bath and restaurant. It also has a nice terrace where you can sit to relax and read or whatever.
