We arrived just before really heavy snow. Immediately they told us they would clear the path.
They also helped us with a nice walk to the nearby old center and a loop trail, so we did not need the car.
When we came back the path was cleared and even around the car. Excellent!
It was really quiet.
The landmark Glockenturm tower is just steps away. All of the rooms at the Zum Landsberger Hof include cable TV, a seating area, and a modern bathroom. Wi-Fi is available for free.
Hotel Menge An der Schlacht is located in historic Arnsberg, directly on the banks of the River Ruhr. The modern terrace offers al fresco dining and spectacular views of the hotel’s garden.

The most exceptionally welcoming and gracious hosts. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was brilliant for the short time we were there. Their English was excellent and they were very patient whilst I tried to converse in German.
Clean hotel, very helpful staff, clean room, clean bathrooms, very good service but there is one thing that turned out to be a small flaw. With my 84-year-old father he had to climb all the stairs ... even the small ones.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely yes.
But forewarn them in advance if you have elderly.
Breakfast was good. The area is beautiful. Hotel is located on a hill on the edge of a forest. Great for hiking or for a nice long walk with your dog. We enjoyed the restaurant, which has good food and good local beer. The personnel were nice.
