The staff was very friendly and helpful, they always made sure we were satisfied and had everything. The place and surroundings were beautiful, like from a fairytale. The old market square, Langer's Villa and the Ottendorfer...
The old market square, Langer's Villa and the Ottendorfer house from the previous German time are very nice and have been renovated quite well during the last decades. The restaurant in Hotel Slavia is not so good, go to the bus station restaurant instead. In the evening, the market square was rather empty, no nice cafes, some drunk people and dog owners only. The houses around the city built after 1945 are quite ugly.

One aspect of Garni Hotel Svitavy that we did appreciate was its close proximity to the city center. This allowed us to easily explore the city's attractions and restaurants without having to travel far. Additionally, being just around the corner from the city made it easy to return to the hotel for a quick break or to drop off any purchases before continuing our exploration.
Great option for swimmers; hotel provides direct access to a standard-length municipal lap pool. Staff are notably friendly, with Mrs. Resslerova standing out for her exceptional kindness.
On some days, you can request fresh eggs, a superior alternative to the usual "heated box" eggs.

It is a nice single room very close to the railway station. Despite Svitavy is an overcrowded road junction, the location is quiet. For one person, the room is very spatious.
