Everything was very clean, the common area and my room too. The location was good. The staff was both professional and kind. I liked the old-fashioned style of the hotel. I liked how the common area was furnished. I also liked my room: it was essential and clean. It seems like the furniture hasn't been altered in 40 years (except the television) and I find this fact interesting as long everything was clean and working. It seems that the bathroom was recently refurbished.

The property itself it worth value for money, even though the room does not have air con, we could sleep with open windows and the street was not too noisy. The staff deserves a valuable mention, the reception staff went above and beyond satisfying our needs, offering us a coffee before the bar was even open or calling us a cab as all bolt taxis were busy!
